GoodSync Version 10 reached the end of its support lifecycle in 2020 and no longer receives software updates, security updates, compatibility improvements, or technical support.
Perpetual licenses originally purchased for GoodSync Version 10 can no longer be used for new activations or reactivations. The legacy activation services required for these unsupported releases are no longer available because they do not meet current security requirements.
GoodSync no longer sells perpetual licenses. A Version 10 perpetual license cannot directly activate GoodSync Version 12 or be applied toward the purchase of a newer license. However, an eligible Version 10 license may qualify your account for the complimentary GoodSync Version 12 Personal upgrade described below.
Free Upgrade to GoodSync V12 Personal
You are eligible for a complimentary GoodSync V12 Personal license when both of the following conditions apply:
- Your GoodSync Account contains a purchased GoodSync V10 license.
- Your account does not already contain a GoodSync V12 Personal license.
Important: The GoodSync V10 license does not activate Version 12 directly. You must redeem the complimentary upgrade from the Licenses tab of your GoodSync Account.
How to redeem and install the upgrade
- Log in to your GoodSync Account .
- Open the "Licenses" tab.
- Click "Free Upgrade to GoodSync V12."
- After the upgrade has been added to your account, visit the GoodSync Download page to download and install the latest version of GoodSync V12.
If the free-upgrade option is not displayed or you have already redeemed your complimentary upgrade, contact GoodSync Support for additional information about the upgrade options available for your account.
