You have two options for transferring a GoodSync license to another account:
- If you no longer use the account associated with the license
- If you plan to continue using the current account
If you no longer use the account associated with the license
1) Log in to the current GoodSync account holding the license.
2) Navigate to the "Account" section. Scroll down to "Special Operations" and click "Merge This Account into Another Account."
3) Enter the email address and password of the new GoodSync account you wish to merge with. Confirm your selection by checking the "Are You Sure?" box. Then, proceed by clicking the "Merge User" button.
4) After the accounts have been merged, log in to the new account to verify the merged license. You can find it under the "Licenses" section after logging in.
If you plan to continue using the current account
1) Log in to the current GoodSync account holding the license.
2) Once logged in, navigate to the "Licenses" section by selecting it from the column on the left.
3) Scroll down to "Available Device Licenses" and click "Delete" next to the license to remove it from the account. If no licenses appear under "Available Device Licenses," release them by clicking "UnAssign" in the "Assigned Device Licenses" next to the device currently assigned the license.
4) Review the license to be deleted from the current account, then confirm the deletion by clicking "YES" at the bottom.
NOTE: When transferring a GoodSync v12/Personal license, it can only be transferred in its entirety, and individual device licenses cannot be transferred separately.
5) Log in to your new GoodSync account.
6) Navigate to the "Licenses" section and click on "Add Licenses from Existing Order by OrderID and Name."
7) Enter the Licensee Name and OrderID from the order and click the "Submit" button.
NOTE: After successfully transferring the license to the new account, you'll need to reactivate it on your devices using the updated account information.
