This tutorial focuses on configuring jobs to run in unattended mode within the GoodSync application. Unattended mode allows GoodSync to run jobs even if the user is logged off.
1) The Runner service must be configured. To do so, open the GoodSync application >> select “Tools” in the upper toolbar >> select “Runner Service Setup…”
2) Within the dialog window that appears, enter in the username and password for the currently logged in user >> select “Apply.”
Note: the runner service should be configured to run as the same account that created the GoodSync jobs.
3) Select the job that you would like to run in unattended mode >> click the “Options” button in the upper right-hand corner.
4) Within Options, select the “Auto” tab in the left side column >> check the box next to “Run without User Interface (Unattended)” >> click "Save" to commit the setting change.
Note: you must configure this for each job that you would like to run in unattended mode.
You have now configured unattended mode for these GoodSync jobs. GoodSync will no longer require a user to be logged in for the particular jobs that you have configured.
