GoodSync Connect Server uses the following TCP and UDP ports for communication, management, and local device discovery.
TCP Ports
- TCP 80 and 443 (HTTP/HTTPS)
Allow outbound access on these ports so GoodSync Clients and Servers can communicate with mediator.goodsync.com for connection coordination, account authentication, and device discovery.
- TCP 33333
Allow inbound and outbound access on this port to enable secure file transfers between GoodSync Clients and GoodSync Servers, including uploads and downloads.
- TCP 11000 (formerly 4444)
Allow local access to this port to open the GoodSync Server Web UI from a web browser by navigating to http://localhost:11000 or http://<server-ip>:11000
- TCP 22222
Allow inbound access to this port only if WebDAV support is enabled and remote users need to access files through the WebDAV protocol.
- TCP 33334
Allow local access to this port so GoodSync Server can receive Manage API commands used for automation and administrative control.
UDP Ports
- UDP 33338 and 33339
Allow these ports on the local network to enable broadcast-based discovery of GoodSync Servers by GoodSync Clients on the same subnet.
Firewall Recommendations
To ensure full functionality, allow the ports listed above through any local firewall, endpoint protection software, and network security appliances.
Outbound access to mediator.goodsync.com over ports 80 and 443 is required for account authentication and GoodSync Connect coordination.
