GoodSync supports a number of file systems and transfer protocols to give users full control over where their data is replicated.

When selecting the left and right sides of your job (source and destination), you may select your desired file system or transfer protocol from the "File System" drop-down.
Local
My Computer
To replicate data from/to your local file system, select "My Computer" and enter the path of the folder (on your local file system) that you would like to set as a source or destination.

Linux example:
Network Shares
To replicate data from/to a network share, select Network Shares (the Apple File Protocol may also be specified for Mac environments).
Enter the path of the share that you would like to set as a source or destination.
Media Devices MTP
To replicate data from or/to a mobile device using MTP, select "Media Devices MTP."
Enter the path of the device using MTP (on your local file system) that you would like to set as a source or destination.
Remote
GoodSync Connect
To replicate data from/ to another device with GoodSync Connect, select "GoodSync Connect."
Enter the GoodSync Connect path that you would like to set as a source or destination, and provide the correct credentials.
You may use a locally installed GoodSync application to verify the exact path you would like to set.

FTP
To replicate data from or to an FTP server, select "FTP."
Enter the IP or hostname of the FTP server that you would like to set as a source or destination, and provide the correct credentials.
You may also configure additional FTP options as needed in the "File System Specific" section.
SFTP
To replicate data from or to an SFTP server, select SFTP.
Enter the IP or hostname of the SFTP server that you would like to set as a source or destination, and provide the correct credentials.
WebDAV
To replicate data from or to a WebDAV server, select "WebDAV."
Enter the IP or hostname of the WebDAV server that you would like to set as a source or destination, and provide the correct credentials.
Cloud (standard authentication)
Amazon S3
To replicate data from or to Amazon S3 storage, select "Amazon S3".
Provide your AWS Access Key ID and AWS Secret Access Key in the appropriate fields.

Windows Azure/Azure Files API
To replicate data from or to Windows Azure storage, select "Windows Azure." "Azure Files API" can also be selected if blob or bucket storage is not used.
Enter your storage account name and Primary Access Key into the appropriate fields.

Backblaze B2
To replicate data from/to Backblaze storage, select "Backblaze B2."
Provide your B2 Account ID and B2 Application Key into the appropriate fields.
