After onboarding your users/devices, they will appear as runners in the Runners tab. A runner is represented as a user account on a particular device.
To authorize Runners, this is a two-step process. This will need to be completed both in the Control Center and with the GoodSync Account (https://www.goodsync.com/manage/login).
For example, below we can see the runner Test1@DESKTOP-749QQAP. The user account is Test1, and the computer names are DESKTOP-749QQAP and LAPTOP-ADOCI2CE.
The "Machine Type" column specifies whether the device is a Workstation or a Server. Licensing will reflect the number of workstations and servers needed in your environment.
Once your onboarded users appear as runners, you may authorize them by:
Click on the checkbox to the right of the runner.
Click Actions and select Authorize.
Click Save to confirm authorizing the runner to communicate with/from your Control Center account.
GoodSync Online account (https://www.goodsync.com/manage/login)
Log in to your account > Devices tab > Click on Authorize to the right of the device
Once a runner is authorized, it can be managed for job assignment, reporting, and more.
