Download the Linux installer from this link. After downloading, ensure that you grant the installer execution permissions: chmod +x cc-runner-install-x86_64-release.run
Run the downloaded installer: ./cc-runner-install-x86_64-release.run
The installer will prompt for the following information:
- Installation directory – Location where the application will be installed
- System user – User account that will connect to the Control Center

Job Server URL – Control Center URL
- Default: https://jobs.goodsync.com
- If using a Self-Hosted Control Center, enter your server IP address (note: this option is no longer offered for sale)

License type
- Server – Select Y (Yes) to register as a Server license
- Workstation – Select N (No) (default) to register as a Workstation license

Company ID – Links the runner to your Control Center company
- Found in the top-left of your Control Center or under Settings > Company Settings
- Company PIN – Optional PIN to whitelist incoming runners

Account Sync (GoodSync Account)
- Y (Yes) – Sync jobs created in GoodSync with the Control Center (required for version 3.2+)
- N (No) – Disable account-based job syncing (used for versions before 3.2)
- Encryption password – Optional password to encrypt uploaded accounts and jobs
Once the installation is complete, the device will appear in the Control Center under the Runners tab.
The runner will be listed in the format: UserID@DeviceName
Once the runner appears in the Runners tab, it must be authorized:
Runners tab > select the checkbox next to the runner (showing “False”) > Actions > Authorize
